MRI Technologist - La Mesa, California

Schedule and Hours:

• Shift: 5x8 hour shifts, Days
• Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Qualifications:

• Valid BLS certification, current and in good standing
• Certification in MRI (ARRT - Magnetic Resonance Imaging or ARMRIT)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist
• Proficiency in operating MRI imaging equipment and performing a variety of procedures
• Outstanding attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Ability to balance multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct MRI scans according to physician orders and department protocols
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures with a focus on safety, comfort, and clear instructions
• Operate MRI equipment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for procedures performed
• Monitor equipment performance and report issues as needed
• Work collaboratively with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to optimize patient care
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment compliant with all regulatory standards
