An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced MRI Technologist with expertise in Imaging – MRI. In this dynamic contract role, you will work alongside skilled colleagues using advanced imaging technology to provide the highest standard of patient care. Your technical skills and attention to detail will play a vital part in delivering accurate diagnostic results.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification or registry as an MRI Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program
  • Prior experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical or hospital setting
  • Strong understanding of MRI safety protocols and imaging procedures
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals
  • BLS certification required; additional certification in MRI preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality MRI scans according to physician orders and departmental protocols
  • Ensure patient safety before, during, and after procedures, including comprehensive screening
  • Properly position patients and select imaging parameters for optimal diagnostic results
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for each procedure
  • Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams for diagnostic image review
  • Provide clear instructions, reassurance, and care to patients throughout their visit
  • Monitor equipment function, report technical issues, and assist with routine maintenance
