MRI Technician | Lake Worth, Florida

A skilled MRI Technologist is needed for a 13-week assignment, providing expertise in advanced MRI imaging within a high-volume environment. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a patient-focused team, utilizing state-of-the-art technology to capture high-quality diagnostic images.

Schedule:

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
• Hours: 6:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
• ARRT (MR) certification required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume imaging department
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to provide compassionate patient care and maintain a safe imaging environment

Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images according to physician orders and established protocols
• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout each exam
• Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate patient records and equipment maintenance logs
• Adhere to safety guidelines, infection control practices, and organizational policies at all times
• Support patient education related to MRI procedures and address any questions or concerns
