MRI Technologist - Lakeland, Florida

An opportunity is available for a skilled MRI Technologist to provide imaging expertise on a contract basis. The role supports an advanced radiology team equipped with Fuji 1.5T Oval Eschelon technology. Ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be ready to start as soon as possible.

Schedule:

• Tuesday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 13-week assignment

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an MRI Technologist
• Proficiency operating MRI equipment, specifically the Fuji 1.5T Oval Eschelon
• Current ARRT(MR) certification and relevant state licensure
• Strong knowledge of imaging safety protocols
• Ability to collaborate with physicians, technologists, and nursing personnel
• Excellent communication and organization skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations according to protocols and physician orders
• Operate and troubleshoot the Fuji 1.5T Oval Eschelon system effectively and safely
• Accurately position patients and ensure their comfort during scans
• Evaluate images for quality and completeness before forwarding to radiologists
• Maintain detailed patient records and imaging documentation
• Adhere strictly to safety standards for patients and staff, including proper use of screening checklists
• Contribute to a professional and supportive clinical environment

$2,709 - $2,856/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
