Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of Director of Operating Room experience (Required)

• BLS Certification (AHA)

• Michigan License (if applicable)

Key Responsibilities

• Staff Leadership: Supervise, hire, mentor, and develop nurses, surgical technologists, and support staff.

• Operations & Scheduling: Manage daily OR scheduling, room assignments, and optimize surgical workflow.

• Budget Management: Oversee departmental budgets, purchasing, inventory, and resource allocation.

• Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection prevention, sterile processing standards, and patient safety initiatives.
