Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI scans following established protocols to ensure accurate imaging results
- Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and safety throughout each procedure
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, adhering to all safety standards
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and healthcare professionals to review and interpret imaging needs
- Maintain accurate patient records and thorough documentation for each procedure
- Monitor patients for safety concerns, including allergies and contraindications for MRI scanning
- Educate patients and answer questions to ensure understanding of procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in MRI from an accredited institution
- ARRT certification (MRI) or equivalent required
- Prior professional experience in imaging, specifically MRI
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and function effectively within a fast-paced clinical environment
