Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited program in radiologic technology or related field
• ARRT (MR) certification required
• Valid state licensure to practice as an MRI technologist
• Previous experience operating MRI equipment and following imaging protocols
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment for a variety of diagnostic examinations in accordance with established safety standards and physician instructions
• Position patients appropriately and ensure comfort throughout the procedure
• Screen patients for contraindications and explain procedures to relieve anxieties
• Work alongside radiologists and referring providers to optimize image acquisition
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist in maintaining departmental workflow
• Adhere to infection control, quality assurance, and safety procedures at all times
• Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with imaging advancements
