Step into a specialized imaging role where your skills as an MRI Technologist will make a meaningful difference in patient care and diagnostic accuracy. This contract position offers a dynamic schedule over a 13-week period, engaging you in both orthopedic and main hospital environments.

Schedule:

  • Three 12-hour shifts per week
  • Thursday: 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM (Orthopedic Hospital)
  • Friday: 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM (Orthopedic Hospital)
  • Saturday: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (Main Facility)
  • No on-call required

Qualifications:

  • Current certification and registration as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI or equivalent)
  • Proven experience with MRI equipment, imaging protocols, and safety procedures
  • Strong communication skills and patient-centered focus
  • Ability to adapt to various clinical settings and work effectively in a team
  • BLS certification required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality MRI scans according to physician orders and established protocols
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout imaging procedures
  • Maintain clear and accurate patient records and imaging documentation
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to provide timely diagnostic information
  • Troubleshoot imaging equipment and communicate maintenance needs as necessary
