MRI Technologist - Lenexa, KS

Contribute your expertise in medical imaging as an MRI Technologist on a 13-week contract opportunity. This position focuses on delivering precise, high-quality MRI scans that meet the needs of patients and medical providers.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Day shift: 8:30am–7:00pm

Key Qualifications:

• Active BLS certification required
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT credential necessary
• Previous experience in MRI imaging, including safe operation of MRI equipment and patient positioning
• Strong understanding of MRI safety protocols for patients and staff
• Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with healthcare teams and patients

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic MRI scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis
• Prepare and educate patients regarding procedures to ensure comfort and compliance during scans
• Review, assess, and verify orders and patient identification, adhering to established procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and image archiving within the system
• Follow all safety guidelines and company policies, including infection control and patient privacy protocols
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to optimize workflow and patient outcomes
• Contribute to the maintenance and cleanliness of MRIareas and equipment
