MRI Technologist - Lenexa, Kansas

Schedule/Hours:

• 13-week contract
• Two 12-hour shifts per week
• Weekend days: Saturday and Sunday, 6:30 am – 6:30 pm
• No on-call requirement

Qualifications:

• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• ARRT(MR) certification required
• Demonstrated proficiency in MRI imaging, including knowledge of safety protocols and patient positioning
• Prior experience as an MRI Technologist in a clinical setting is preferred
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with healthcare teams
• Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accurate imaging and patient safety

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders
• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and adherence to safety standards
• Review patient history and physician’s notes to ensure appropriate imaging protocols
• Monitor and respond to patient needs during scans, maintaining clear communication and care
• Document procedures and maintain organized, up-to-date patient records
• Coordinate with radiologists and other team members to relay clinical findings
