Schedule/Hours:
- 13-week contract
- Two 12-hour shifts per week
- Weekend days: Saturday and Sunday, 6:30 am – 6:30 pm
- No on-call requirement
Qualifications:
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ARRT(MR) certification required
- Demonstrated proficiency in MRI imaging, including knowledge of safety protocols and patient positioning
- Prior experience as an MRI Technologist in a clinical setting is preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with healthcare teams
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accurate imaging and patient safety
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders
- Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and adherence to safety standards
- Review patient history and physician’s notes to ensure appropriate imaging protocols
- Monitor and respond to patient needs during scans, maintaining clear communication and care
- Document procedures and maintain organized, up-to-date patient records
- Coordinate with radiologists and other team members to relay clinical findings
