Key Qualifications:

  • Current registration as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent)
  • Previous experience performing MRI scans in a hospital or clinical environment
  • Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, patient positioning, and safety standards
  • Ability to troubleshoot imaging equipment and ensure accurate functionality
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and collaborating with healthcare teams
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and a strong ethical approach to patient care
  • CPR certification (BLS) required

Role Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI scanners to obtain high-quality diagnostic images as ordered by referring physicians
  • Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
  • Monitor patients during scanning for any adverse reactions or discomfort
  • Follow safety protocols concerning magnetic fields and contrast injections
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal imaging outcomes
  • Keep equipment in excellent working order and promptly report any malfunctions
  • Adhere to infection control and facility policies

$2,211 - $2,419/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
