MRI Technologist in Lenexa, KS

Bring your expertise in diagnostic imaging and MRI technology to a dynamic healthcare environment. This position focuses on delivering high-quality MRI scans while ensuring safety, patient comfort, and adherence to clinical protocols. You'll collaborate closely with radiologists and medical teams to provide accurate imaging results critical to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to produce clear, high-resolution images for diagnostic use
• Prepare and position patients according to imaging requirements, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the procedure
• Review imaging orders and maintain accurate records of procedures performed
• Monitor imaging equipment for proper operation and arrange for maintenance or repairs if needed
• Follow standard safety procedures and protocols for MRI, including screening patients for contraindications
• Assist physicians in reviewing and interpreting imaging results as requested
• Maintain a clean and organized imaging suite, adhering to infection control and safety regulations
• Provide compassionate, effective communication with patients and healthcare team members

Qualifications:

• Certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI or equivalent)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency in operating advanced MRI scanners and related medical imaging equipment
• Previous experience as an MRI Tech, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality diagnostic images
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of patient care requirements for imaging procedures
