This 14-week contract opportunity offers the chance to apply your advanced MRI skills in a Level 1 Trauma Center and teaching hospital setting, working Tuesday through Friday on a night shift schedule with no on-call responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans with precision and adherence to safety protocols, including thorough research of implants and compliance with MRI safety guidelines.
- Manage imaging procedures for anesthesia and pediatric patients with high attention to patient care and comfort.
- Operate Siemens MRI systems efficiently, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals using Epic and PACS systems to support patient care and documentation.
- Maintain professional certifications and adhere to hospital policies and standards.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active BLS and ARRT (MR) certifications are required.
- State licensure is not required for this position.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center or teaching facility preferred.
- Proven experience with Siemens MRI equipment is mandatory.
- Knowledge of MRI safety and implant research protocols.
- Familiarity with handling pediatric and anesthesia cases.
- Experience with Epic and PACS software is a plus.
- Local travelers within 75 miles of Lexington, KY, are not eligible for this role.
