Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid ARRT (MRI) certification or equivalent credential.
  • Current state licensure as required for MRI technologists.
  • Proven experience operating MRI equipment and protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on patient safety and comfort.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced clinical setting and handle multiple cases.
  • CPR/BLS certification preferred.

Schedule & Hours:

  • Full-time, 8- or 12-hour shifts depending on department needs
  • Potential for evenings, weekends, or rotating schedules

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients for MRI scans, ensuring comfort, privacy, and clear communication throughout the procedure.
  • Operate and maintain sophisticated MRI equipment, performing regular quality checks.
  • Maintain concise, thorough records and document all imaging procedures accurately in the electronic health record system.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff to ensure high-quality images and excellent patient outcomes.
  • Monitor patients during scans and respond to any emergent situations with professionalism and composure.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and infection control guidelines.
