MRI Technologist - Livonia, Michigan

Schedule/Hours:

• 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays
• 2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. on Mondays

Key Qualifications:

• Certification as an MRI Technologist or Imaging - MRI professional
• Previous experience operating MRI equipment and delivering clear, accurate images
• Strong understanding of MRI safety protocols and procedures
• Ability to collaborate effectively with radiologists and care team members
• Detail-oriented approach and excellent communication skills
• Current ARRT (MRI) or equivalent certification required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for MRI scans, ensuring safety and comfort
• Operate MRI equipment to capture diagnostic images as ordered
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Follow appropriate safety and quality assurance protocols at all times
• Communicate scan results and patient updates to physicians and fellow staff
• Provide compassionate support to patients, addressing concerns and explaining procedures
