• Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent)
• Demonstrated competency in operating MRI equipment and performing routine and specialized scans
• Strong understanding of MRI safety procedures for both patients and staff
• Previous work experience in a clinical imaging environment preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and medical staff
• Ability to adapt quickly to new protocols and technologies
• Detail-oriented approach to managing patient records and scan documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI scanners to perform high-quality imaging studies as ordered by physicians
• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and adherence to safety protocols
• Screen patients and staff for MRI safety and contraindications
• Accurately maintain patient imaging records and document scan details within hospital systems
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and healthcare providers to relay scan findings and address any procedure-related concerns
• Perform routine equipment checks and participate in quality assurance initiatives
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and sanitized work environment
