Step into an essential role supporting advanced medical imaging as an MRI technologist. Work within a collaborative healthcare environment, where your expertise in MRI imaging helps support accurate diagnoses and patient care.
Schedule:
- 5x8 hour shifts
- Day shift: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Qualifications:
- Current certification with ARRT (MR)
- Valid ODH License
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Previous experience operating MRI scanners and working with imaging software preferred
- Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI scans following physician orders and standard protocols
- Prepare and position patients to ensure safety and optimal imaging results
- Operate MRI equipment, ensuring proper settings and timely completion of tests
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to support patient care
- Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients during procedures
- Monitor equipment for functionality and coordinate maintenance as needed
- Adhere to all relevant safety procedures, including infection control and handling of contrast agents
