Take your MRI Technologist skills to the next level in a dynamic contract role with a dedicated imaging department. This travel assignment features a Monday through Thursday night schedule from 9:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. and offers an opportunity to work with advanced MRI technology while supporting a high-acuity patient population. Please note: Applicants must not reside within a 50-mile radius of Louisville.

Key Schedule Details:

  • Four-night schedule: Monday to Thursday, 9 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.

Role Requirements & Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of one year of acute care MRI experience
  • National certification: ARRT (MR) or AMRIT, plus BLS
  • Current Kentucky licensure, unless grandfathered in
  • Experience managing neuro cases (spine, stroke, head trauma), and student athlete imaging
  • EMR familiarity—Cerner experience preferred
  • Adaptable soft skills: excellent communication, positive attitude, and outstanding patient care
  • Ability to work solo or with team support, depending on shift
  • Willingness to complete up to two weeks of orientation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality MRI scans on a diverse population
  • Exercise clinical judgment and adapt protocols as required, especially for neuro patients
  • Collaborate with radiologists, fellow MRI techs, and tech assistants
  • Maintain a safe and patient-centered environment
  • Wear ceil blue scrubs in compliance with department guidelines
