Qualifications:

• Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI required
• Completion of an accredited MRI program
• State licensure, if required
• Previous experience as an MRI Technologist preferred
• Proficiency in the use and maintenance of MRI equipment
• Strong communication skills and compassionate patient interaction

Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI scanners to obtain high-quality diagnostic images for physicians
• Prepare patients for MRI procedures, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the exam
• Explain procedures to patients and answer their questions to alleviate concerns
• Position patients correctly to ensure proper imaging
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection standards
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver timely imaging services
• Maintain accurate records of performed procedures and patient information
• Troubleshoot and report equipment issues as needed
