Qualifications and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience as an MRI Technologist
  • Active ARRT(MR) certification (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Comprehensive understanding of MRI safety protocols
  • Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting MRI equipment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and multidisciplinary teams
  • BLS/CPR certification required
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently perform high-quality MRI scans according to physician orders and department protocols
  • Prepare patients by explaining procedures and ensuring adherence to all safety guidelines
  • Accurately assess, position, and monitor patients during imaging procedures
  • Maintain and record clear, detailed imaging records and patient documentation
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes
  • Ensure routine cleaning and maintenance of MRI equipment
  • Adhere to departmental standards and regulatory requirements
