Schedule Options:
- 40 hours/week, 2:30 pm–11:00 pm
- Week 1: Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri/Sat
- Week 2: Sun/Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a full range of MRI scans safely, including both outpatient and research exams, with or without contrast agents.
- Prepare and position patients, select optimal imaging protocols, and set parameters for high-quality diagnostic images.
- Insert IV catheters, prepare and administer MR contrast agents, monitor for adverse reactions, and document in the EMR.
- Adhere strictly to MRI safety protocols, instruct patients and visitors on safety standards, and act as the final safety check before each scan.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, conduct scheduled quality control procedures, and report technical concerns.
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other content experts.
- Support departmental duties such as scheduling, patient transport, inventory management, and other operational tasks.
Desired Qualifications:
- Completion of a Medical Imaging Program (certificate or diploma required; associate’s degree preferred).
- BLS certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Advanced MRI certification (ARRT or ARMRIT) within 12 months of hire.
