Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent required)
  • Valid state licensure as applicable
  • Demonstrated experience operating MRI systems and performing high-quality imaging studies
  • Knowledge of patient safety and MRI safety protocols
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients and team members
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in imaging procedures
  • BLS certification required

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI procedures following established protocols to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
  • Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort and safety during scans
  • Evaluate images for diagnostic quality, cooperating with radiologists as needed
  • Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly
  • Document all scan procedures and patient records accurately and securely
  • Ensure adherence to safety guidelines for patients and staff in the MRI suite
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to remain current with best practices and advancements in MRI technology
