Qualifications and Experience:

• Current ARRT (MRI) certification or equivalent credentials
• State licensure as required
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an MRI Technologist
• Proficiency with imaging equipment and protocols specific to MRI
• Understanding of safety procedures for patients and staff in an MRI environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs and varying workload

Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI scanners to obtain high-resolution images as requested by physicians
• Prepare patients for scans, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and safety
• Accurately position patients and select appropriate imaging techniques
• Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot minor technical issues
• Maintain detailed records and assist in managing imaging files
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff for optimal workflow
• Adhere to hospital safety standards and infection control procedures
