Advance your career in diagnostic imaging as an MRI technologist, utilizing your expertise in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) within a collaborative and patient-focused environment. This contract opportunity offers a chance to provide critical imaging services during afternoon and evening hours.

Schedule:

  • 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited MRI technologist program
  • Valid ARMRIT or ARRT certification required
  • No Connecticut state radiology license necessary
  • Demonstrated proficiency operating MRI equipment and following safety protocols
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in a clinical imaging setting preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality MRI examinations according to physician orders and established guidelines
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
  • Review imaging results for clarity and accuracy before submitting for physician review
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and conduct pre/post-procedure checks
  • Document patient information and procedures accurately in health records
  • Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other team members for optimal patient care
