MRI Technologist in Marietta, GA

Qualifications & Experience:

• Certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent required)
• Proven technical experience operating MRI equipment in a healthcare setting
• Thorough understanding of MRI safety protocols and patient screening
• Competency in positioning patients for optimal imaging results
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient interactions
• Current BLS certification preferred

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI examinations following physicians’ orders and departmental procedures
• Evaluate images for clarity and report any technical issues to radiologists or supervisors
• Prepare and maintain MRI equipment, troubleshooting as needed to ensure continuous operation
• Educate patients on the MRI process and confirm adherence to safety guidelines, including screening for contraindications
• Document patient information and exam details accurately in electronic records
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure timely and efficient workflow
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations
