Step into a vital imaging role specializing in MRI technology, where you'll provide crucial diagnostic support to patients and clinical teams. Schedule:
- Two 12-hour shifts: Saturday & Sunday, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- No on-call responsibility
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience required
- Current ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent
- In-depth knowledge of MRI procedures and safety protocols
- Proficiency with both GE 450W and GE Voyager MRI systems preferred
- Ability to work effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds and conditions
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- CPR/BLS certification (as required by clinical standards)
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI scans per physician orders and facility protocols
- Prepare and position patients to ensure comfort and accuracy during imaging
- Operate and maintain GE 450W and GE Voyager MRI equipment, optimizing image quality while adhering to safety guidelines
- Accurately document procedures, patient histories, and pertinent observations in the medical record
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless patient care
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe imaging environment
