Deliver exceptional patient care in a dynamic imaging department as an MRI Technologist. Bring your expertise in MRI to a supportive setting where you’ll be a critical part of the diagnostic process each weekend.
Schedule:
- Two 12-hour shifts
- Saturday & Sunday
- 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
- No on-call required
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience in a clinical setting
- Proficiency operating MRI equipment, specifically with GE 450W and GE Voyager systems (preferred)
- Valid certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI or equivalent)
- Current BLS certification
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for professional interaction with patients and the care team
Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and quality imaging
- Independently perform a variety of complex MRI scans as ordered by physicians
- Adhere to established protocols while adapting imaging techniques to suit patient needs
- Accurately document procedures and maintain high standards of infection control
- Provide clear communication and guidance to patients throughout their procedures
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and fellow technologists
