Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR preferred)
• Experience operating MRI imaging equipment
• Comprehensive understanding of anatomy and MRI protocols
• Ability to ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical MRI setting strongly preferred

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for MRI scans according to established protocols
• Operate MRI equipment to produce accurate diagnostic images
• Review images for clarity and consult with radiologists as needed
• Maintain clear and thorough patient records and imaging documentation
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure safety and address concerns
• Clean and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues promptly
• Adhere to all HIPAA and facility safety policies
