MRI Technologist - Meriden, CT

Schedule/Hours:

• Afternoon/Second shift availability required
• Shifts may be 8 or 10 hours, depending on facility needs

Qualifications:

• Active ARRT or ARMRIT certification required; no state licensure needed
• Proficient MRI skills with a solid track record of hands-on experience
• Previous experience working on a wide range of MRI equipment, especially GE, Hitachi, and Siemens magnets, is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and patient care abilities
• Ability to work independently while being part of a wider imaging team

Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI technology to acquire high-quality diagnostic images in an outpatient setting
• Safely position and prepare patients for MRI scans while maintaining patient comfort and safety at all times
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate study protocols
• Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment, including GE, Hitachi, and Siemens machines
• Adhere to safety procedures and regulatory requirements for imaging
• Document procedures and patient information with a high level of accuracy
