Schedule/Hours:
- Afternoon/Second shift availability required
- Shifts may be 8 or 10 hours, depending on facility needs
Qualifications:
- Active ARRT or ARMRIT certification required; no state licensure needed
- Proficient MRI skills with a solid track record of hands-on experience
- Previous experience working on a wide range of MRI equipment, especially GE, Hitachi, and Siemens magnets, is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and patient care abilities
- Ability to work independently while being part of a wider imaging team
Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI technology to acquire high-quality diagnostic images in an outpatient setting
- Safely position and prepare patients for MRI scans while maintaining patient comfort and safety at all times
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate study protocols
- Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment, including GE, Hitachi, and Siemens machines
- Adhere to safety procedures and regulatory requirements for imaging
- Document procedures and patient information with a high level of accuracy
