Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited MRI technologist program
- Current ARRT (MR) certification or eligibility
- Valid state licensure as required
- Minimum one year of experience performing MRI procedures in a clinical setting
- Proficiency in imaging software and MRI equipment operation
- Strong understanding of MRI safety protocols and patient care standards
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
Schedule/Hours:
- Flexible scheduling may be available based on department needs
- Some evening, weekend, or holiday shifts may be required
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the process
- Accurately position patients and select appropriate imaging parameters to achieve diagnostic-quality scans
- Operate MRI scanners and related technology safely and efficiently
- Review images for clarity and quality, consulting with radiologists as needed
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records
- Monitor and maintain strict adherence to safety guidelines and infection control protocols
- Assist in the training and orientation of new staff as needed
- Provide compassionate support and education to patients and families regarding the MRI process

$2,541 - $2,688/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
