An opportunity is available for a skilled MRI technologist to provide advanced imaging services in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract position plays a key role in delivering patient-centered diagnostic imaging and requires a strong technical background in MRI modalities.

Schedule:

  • Every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (not rotating)
  • Three 12-hour shifts: 7:30am – 8:00pm

Qualifications:

  • Current State of Florida Radiologic Technologist license
  • Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification — ARMRIT not accepted
  • Associate degree or higher in Radiologic Technology, with diploma or official transcripts available
  • At least one year of hands-on MRI experience in a clinical environment
  • Ability to demonstrate a patient-focused attitude and high attention to safety and infection control standards
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team setting
  • Applicants cannot be permanent residents of Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images as ordered by physicians
  • Accurately position patients for imaging procedures and provide clear instructions to ensure patient safety
  • Maintain patient comfort and confidentiality during all procedures
  • Adhere to established safety protocols, radiation safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Verify patient identification and imaging orders; manage technical data entry into the imaging system
  • Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members regarding patient imaging results and workflow
