In this contract position, you will contribute your expertise as an MRI technologist, utilizing your technical skills and attention to detail to produce high-quality diagnostic images and provide compassionate support to patients during procedures.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 3x12 hour shifts each week (days)

Key Qualifications:

  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
  • Proficiency with MRI imaging equipment and procedures
  • Minimum of one year of experience as an MRI technologist preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced setting, ensuring safety and accuracy
  • ARMRIT certifications are not accepted for this role

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI scanners in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
  • Explain imaging procedures clearly to patients, ensuring their comfort and cooperation
  • Accurately position patients and select appropriate imaging parameters
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver precise results
  • Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records per facility guidelines
  • Monitor equipment for proper functioning and assist with troubleshooting as needed
