MRI Technologist in Miami, FL

Experienced MRI technologists are sought for a specialized imaging opportunity with a guaranteed 36-hour work week in a reputable healthcare environment. This contract position offers an engaging schedule and the chance to work with advanced MRI equipment. Please note: candidates must reside outside of Broward, Dade, and Palm Beach counties to be eligible.

Schedule:

• Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
• 7:15am – 8:00pm shifts
• 36 hours guaranteed weekly
• 8-week initial assignment with possible extension

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification required
• Valid State of Florida radiology license
• College diploma or official transcripts verifying completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
• At least one year of recent MRI experience preferred
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills essential
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring safety and comfort throughout
• Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines, regulatory standards, and infection prevention protocols
• Review and maintain accurate patient documentation and image records
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and support personnel for seamless care delivery
• Troubleshoot equipment and provide input on workflow improvements
