MRI Technologist - Miami, FL

A skilled MRI technologist is needed for a contract assignment, working Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7:30am–8:00pm (three 12-hour shifts, consistently assigned). This position requires expertise in performing high-quality MRI imaging procedures in a fast-paced environment, with a professional commitment to patient care and adherence to established safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Active State of Florida Radiologic Technologist license (must be current)
• ARRT certification is required (ARMRIT is not accepted)
• Completion of a college program in radiology; must provide either diploma or transcripts
• Demonstrated experience with MRI procedures and associated imaging equipment
• Strong communication skills and dedicated to patient safety and comfort
• Cannot accept candidates who are permanent residents of Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for MRI exams, ensuring proper imaging technique and patient safety
• Operate MRI equipment, monitor images for diagnostic quality, and make adjustments as needed
• Review and complete accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient information at all times
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to coordinate imaging needs
• Monitor MRI room for safe operation and maintain cleanliness of area and equipment

$2,554 - $2,693/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
