Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid ARRT (MR) or equivalent MRI technologist certification required
• Current state licensure as applicable
• Minimum of one year of recent MRI experience in a hospital or clinical setting
• Proficiency operating GE, Siemens, or Philips MRI scanners
• Knowledge of safety protocols and understanding of MRI contrast administration
• Strong communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Schedule:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality MRI imaging procedures as ordered by physicians, ensuring optimal image acquisition
• Explain procedures to patients to secure consent and alleviate anxiety, providing compassionate support throughout the exam
• Recognize and report abnormal findings or critical values according to facility policy
• Maintain and calibrate MRI equipment, following all safety guidelines for patients and staff
• Complete documentation and ensure accurate patient records in the electronic health record system
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver cohesive patient care
