MRI Technologist | Middletown, Ohio

In this contract role, you will work as an MRI Technologist, utilizing advanced technology and protocols to deliver high-quality images and exceptional patient experiences in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Schedule:

• Two 12-hour shifts per week
• Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
• No on-call responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
• Proficient in conducting MRI procedures independently and efficiently
• Experience with GE 450W and GE Voyager MRI equipment highly preferred
• Current ARRT (MR) certification and valid BLS certification required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction and clinical teamwork
• Ability to maintain a safe, compliant, and patient-focused environment at all times

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized MRI scans in accordance with physician instructions and established protocols
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring accurate image acquisition
• Prepare patients for MRI procedures, thoroughly explaining the process and providing reassurance
• Monitor patients throughout procedures for comfort and safety
• Coordinate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal imaging results
• Consistently document imaging findings and maintain accurate patient records
• Uphold infection control measures and quality assurance standards
