Seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for a contract position to deliver top-tier imaging care in a dynamic hospital environment. The department handles a diverse patient population including adults and pediatrics from emergency, critical care, inpatient, and outpatient areas, averaging 40-45 exams per day.

Schedule

  • 10-hour night shifts (40 hours per week)
  • Monday-Thursday, 7:00 PM – 5:30 AM
  • 13-week contract
  • No weekend rotation required; shift assignment remains consistent throughout your contract
  • Call duties are fairly rotated among the team
  • Holiday coverage support may be needed unless approved off in advance

Qualifications

  • 1 year of MRI experience required
  • ARRT(R) or NMTCB, and either ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification
  • BLS required
  • Confident clinical skill set, capable of working in a high-acuity, fast-paced setting
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Open to first-time travelers
  • No state license required

Role Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI imaging procedures on a range of patient types and diagnoses across multiple hospital units
  • Operate Siemens 1.5T MRI equipment, document in EPIC EMR
  • Participate in shared call responsibilities with the team
  • Collaborate with a supportive team including lead techs, modality supervisors, and imaging managers
  • Adhere to facility protocols and maintain exceptional standards in patient care
