Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a contract opportunity at a leading medical center with state-of-the-art imaging capability. This advanced facility is a Level I Trauma and Teaching Hospital, serving a diverse patient population with high clinical acuity. You’ll be part of a collaborative radiology department, working alongside dedicated professionals in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule/Hours
- 10-hour Night Shifts
- Monday through Thursday, 7:00 PM – 5:30 AM
- 13-week assignment
- No weekend rotation; shifts remain consistent per contract
- Call is scheduled in fair rotation among all team members
- Holiday coverage is shared, unless pre-approved for time off
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year MRI technologist experience (first-time travelers welcome)
- National certification: ARRT(R) or NMTCB, plus ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT
- Current BLS certification
- Proven ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and adaptability
- Strong clinical skills, particularly in advanced MRI imaging and handling diverse patient needs (adults and pediatrics)
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans for a variety of cases from ED, ICUs, inpatients, and outpatients
- Operate Siemens 1.5T magnets and document procedures in EPIC EMR
- Collaborate with lead techs, modality supervisors, and imaging managers
- Participate in on-call rotation and holiday coverage as required
- Maintain departmental standards for quality and safety
- Complete a thorough departmental and facility orientation
