As an MRI Technologist, your expertise in advanced imaging will contribute to exceptional patient care within a dynamic hospital setting renowned for its leading trauma and teaching programs. You will work alongside a collaborative, skilled team with access to the latest Siemens 1.5T MRI technology, serving a diverse patient population including both adults and pediatrics requiring a full range of radiology exams.
Schedule & Hours
- 13-week contract
- 10-hour Night Shifts: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 pm–5:30 am (40 hours weekly)
- No weekend or weekday rotation—your shift remains consistent per contract
- Call responsibility is fairly rotated among all staff, including travelers, and holiday coverage is expected unless otherwise approved
- No floating required
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent MRI clinical experience
- Registered ARRT(R) or NMTCB, with ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification
- BLS certification required
- Comfortable working with both adult and pediatric patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, helpful attitude
- State MRI licensure not required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures accurately and safely for patients from emergency, ICU, inpatient, and outpatient settings
- Assess, prepare, and communicate care effectively before, during, and after imaging
- Contribute to a team culture focused on high clinical standards and mutual support
- Use EPIC for electronic records; operate Siemens 1.5T MRI equipment
- Adhere to safety standards, infection prevention, and privacy protocols
