MRI Technologist - Mooresville, NC

Advance your career in medical imaging with this contract opportunity for an experienced MRI Technologist. This specialized role provides a unique schedule and hands-on responsibilities in a supportive hospital environment.

Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday, 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekend call required: Approximately 1 weekend per month, Friday night through Monday morning, with a 1-hour response time
• Holiday rotation every other weekend (EOW)
• No floating required

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited MRI Technology program
• Valid ARRT (MR) certification
• Previous experience as an MRI Technologist in a hospital setting
• Expertise with MRI safety protocols and contrast administration
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
• Flexible and responsive to urgent imaging needs during on-call shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with established protocols
• Prepare and position patients safely for MRI procedures while maintaining patient comfort and safety
• Follow all infection prevention and confidentiality standards
• Respond promptly to on-call requests, demonstrating efficiency and professionalism
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care and workflow
• Accurately document procedures and contribute to clinical quality initiatives

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
