MRI Technologist - Mooresville, NC

An exciting opportunity awaits skilled MRI Technologists who are passionate about delivering quality diagnostic imaging. This contract role features evening and overnight shifts with a consistent schedule and rotating on-call responsibilities.

Schedule/Hours:

• 10-hour night shift, 40 hours per week
• Monday to Thursday, 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekend call: one weekend per month from Friday night to Monday morning, with a 1-hour response time
• Every other weekend holiday coverage as required
• No floating to other departments

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification and registration as an MRI Technologist
• Documented experience in MRI imaging procedures
• Familiarity with advanced imaging protocols and safety practices
• Ability to work independently during night shifts and respond to on-call needs within one hour
• Professional communication and collaboration skills
• Strong attention to patient care and comfort

Role Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to provide high-quality imaging for diagnostic review
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain processes, and address concerns
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and infection control guidelines
• Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and efficient imaging workflows
• Respond promptly to call-backs and provide coverage as needed on assigned weekends
• Maintain accurate records and patient documentation
