Desired Qualifications:
- Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI or ARMRIT)
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program
- Valid, unrestricted state license (if required)
- Minimum 1 year of experience performing MRI scans in a clinical setting
- Strong understanding of MRI safety protocols and imaging techniques
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to acquire high-quality images according to physician orders and clinical protocols
- Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the process
- Explain procedures to patients to alleviate anxieties and answer any questions
- Monitor image quality and make technical adjustments as necessary
- Maintain accurate patient records and document all imaging procedures
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, referring physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes
