Desired Qualifications:

• Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI or ARMRIT)
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program
• Valid, unrestricted state license (if required)
• Minimum 1 year of experience performing MRI scans in a clinical setting
• Strong understanding of MRI safety protocols and imaging techniques
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to acquire high-quality images according to physician orders and clinical protocols
• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the process
• Explain procedures to patients to alleviate anxieties and answer any questions
• Monitor image quality and make technical adjustments as necessary
• Maintain accurate patient records and document all imaging procedures
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, referring physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes
• Adhere strictly to all safety standards, regulatory requirements, and facility guidelines
