As an MRI Technologist, you'll deliver high-quality imaging services and play a key role in supporting diagnostic efforts for physicians and care teams. You'll utilize advanced MRI technology to ensure precise results while prioritizing patient safety and comfort throughout each procedure.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Certification in MRI Technology (ARRT or equivalent)
- Valid licensure as required by the state
- Previous experience as an MRI Technologist preferred
- Strong understanding of imaging protocols, safety regulations, and quality assurance standards
- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative care environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to produce clear, high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Accurately position patients and ensure their safety and comfort during exams
- Screen patients for contraindications and obtain necessary pre-procedure information and consents
- Monitor imaging results for quality and accuracy, adapting protocols as necessary to ensure optimal images
- Maintain accurate records, document procedures, and collaborate with radiologists and referring providers
- Monitor equipment performance, report malfunctions, and assist with scheduling and workflow as needed
