Key Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited MRI Technologist program required
• ARRT (MR) or equivalent certification is mandatory
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical setting
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and best practices
• Excellent patient interaction skills, with a caring and professional manner
• Ability to work effectively with a team and manage multiple tasks efficiently

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI procedures as ordered, ensuring image clarity and patient safety standards
• Verify patient identification, explain procedures clearly, and answer any questions to reduce anxiety and gain cooperation
• Position patients and select appropriate imaging techniques based on clinical indications
• Review and archive images, ensuring completeness and clarity for radiologist interpretation
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control and equipment safety protocols
• Complete all required documentation and enter data accurately into medical records
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to optimize workflow and patient care

Schedule/Hours:

• Contracted role with flexible shifts to accommodate departmental needs
• May include some evenings or weekend coverage depending on patient volume
