Travel MRI Technician | North, South Carolina

Shift Details:

• Schedule: 5x8s, 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM (Monday through Friday)
• Weekend Requirement: Possible, if on-call
• On-Call: Required, with rotation among staff (M-F 6:00 PM–5:30 AM; weekends from Saturday 5:30 AM to Monday 5:30 AM)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of recent MRI experience (first-time travelers are not accepted)
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT credentials
• Experience using Philips MRI equipment
• Ability to comfortably work in a fast-paced, trauma-level setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond effectively during high-pressure situations
• Document patient information and scanning procedures accurately in the Epic system
• Adhere to all facility guidelines, including emergency protocols during hurricane season
