Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current registration with ARRT (MR) or equivalent MRI certification
  • Valid state licensure as required
  • Previous experience in MRI imaging within a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Expertise in operating MRI machines and associated technology
  • Thorough understanding of MRI safety protocols for patients and staff
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to provide clear instructions and compassionate care
  • Strong attention to detail and proficiency in maintaining accurate patient records

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and clinical protocols
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
  • Accurately position patients and utilize immobilization devices as needed for optimal imaging
  • Review and verify physician orders and patient histories
  • Monitor imaging quality and make necessary adjustments to achieve diagnostic results
  • Maintain equipment, troubleshoot common issues, and report malfunctions promptly
  • Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines at all times
  • Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals involved in patient care

$2,710 - $2,867/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
