Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI or equivalent)
• Proven experience operating MRI equipment and troubleshooting technical issues
• In-depth knowledge of imaging safety protocols, especially concerning MRI environments
• Ability to position and prepare patients for MRI procedures with compassion and accuracy
• Strong attention to detail for quality imaging and accurate patient records
• Effective communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans according to physician orders, ensuring exceptional image clarity and patient safety throughout each procedure
• Maintain organized and accurate documentation of procedures, patient histories, and diagnostic results
• Prepare MRI rooms and equipment per protocol, ensuring a safe and clean environment for each patient
• Explain procedures and safety considerations to patients, providing reassurance and support
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff to facilitate timely and accurate results
• Consistently adhere to infection control measures and facility standards
