MRI Technologist in Oak Lawn, IL

An excellent opportunity awaits for an experienced MRI Technologist to provide specialized imaging expertise in a fast-paced healthcare environment. As a vital team member, you will play a key role in delivering quality diagnostic images and supporting high standards of patient care.

Schedule/Hours:

• Typical shifts: 11:30am–8:00pm weekdays
• Occasional 9:00am–5:30pm weekday shifts
• Weekend shifts: 7:30am–4:00pm (every other weekend)
• On-call rotations: Weekdays 8:00pm–6:30am, weekends 4:00pm–7:30am

Qualifications:

• ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT certified, with current credentials
• Current BLS certification required
• Previous experience as an MRI Technologist, able to operate MRI equipment with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational, communication, and technical skills
• Demonstrated ability to follow safety and clinical protocols
• Experience in a traveler or contract role preferred

Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality MRI scans and ensure optimal image clarity for diagnosis
• Prepare, position, and reassure patients throughout the imaging process
• Follow established protocols for imaging, patient safety, and infection control
• Document patient information and scan details accurately in medical records
• Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff to provide comprehensive care
• Be flexible and responsive to on-call and shift requirements, including weekends and nights as scheduled

$1,806 - $1,904/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
