Qualifications:

• Completed accredited program in Radiologic Technology; current ARRT (MR) certification required
• Active state licensure in Radiologic Technology
• Proven experience operating MRI equipment and adhering to safety protocols
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and excellent positioning techniques
• Outstanding communication skills for interacting with patients and clinical colleagues
• Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities
• Must maintain CPR certification

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring safety and proper documentation
• Operate MRI equipment to obtain accurate diagnostic images for physician interpretation
• Review patient histories and physician instructions to ensure appropriate imaging sequences
• Monitor patients during scans, promptly addressing concerns or complications
• Follow strict compliance with HIPAA and infection control standards
• Maintain, clean, and test equipment for optimal functioning and safety
• Accurately complete records in electronic health systems
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review images and deliver timely results
