MRI Technologist | Overland Park, Kansas

Deliver exceptional patient care by performing advanced MRI imaging procedures as part of a dedicated healthcare team. This contract opportunity seeks an experienced MRI Technologist ready to support diagnostic imaging services for a 13-week assignment.

Schedule:

• 4 shifts per week
• 10-hour days
• 8:30am-7:00pm

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification in ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Proven competency with MRI technology and safe imaging practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow imaging protocols
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills in a healthcare setting
• Previous experience as an MRI Tech is highly desirable

Core Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images as per physician orders
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
• Maintain and adjust imaging equipment, troubleshooting as needed
• Accurately document procedures and update patient records
• Collaborate with radiologists and other clinicians to ensure optimal results
• Uphold all safety, regulatory, and quality standards
• Educate patients on procedure expectations and answer questions professionally
