MRI Technologist - Overland Park, Kansas

Advance your career in diagnostic imaging as an MRI Technologist with a leading healthcare provider. This 13-week contract position is focused on delivering high-quality patient care and precise imaging results in a collaborative medical environment.

Schedule:

• 2 shifts per week, 12 hours each
• Weekend days: Saturday and Sunday, 6:30 am–6:30 pm
• No on-call responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Current certification with ARRT(MR)
• BLS certification required
• Demonstrated proficiency in operating MRI equipment
• Strong understanding of MRI safety protocols
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to ensure patient comfort and effective collaboration with the healthcare team
• Previous experience as an MRI Technologist is highly desirable

Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
• Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and work with radiologists to clarify any uncertainties
• Document and update patient records in accordance with facility policies
• Maintain equipment and adhere to scheduled maintenance procedures
• Provide clear instructions and information to patients regarding MRI exams
• Uphold safety and infection control standards at all times
