This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks and focuses on advanced MRI procedures using Siemens Aera 1.5 technology. The ideal candidate demonstrates solid clinical acumen and is comfortable with a wide array of imaging protocols.
Schedule:
- Five 8-hour evening shifts (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)
- Rotating weekends required
Qualifications:
- BLS certification
- Current ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT credentials
- Demonstrated proficiency in Siemens MRI systems, particularly Siemens Aera 1.5
- Advanced experience in neuro imaging, body imaging, angiography, and musculoskeletal (MSK) imaging preferred
- Confident scanning patients with multiple implanted devices
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI exams independently, adhering to physician protocols
- Operate Siemens Aera 1.5 MRI scanner and adapt techniques for various patient needs
- Ensure patient safety, especially with regard to those with implanted devices
- Troubleshoot minor technical and equipment issues
- Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Support a collaborative environment with radiologists, nursing, and support staff
- Ensure excellent patient care, keeping comfort and privacy a top priority
