MRI Technologist in Pawtucket, RI

Contribute your expertise in medical imaging while working in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks and focuses on advanced MRI procedures using Siemens Aera 1.5 technology. The ideal candidate demonstrates solid clinical acumen and is comfortable with a wide array of imaging protocols.

Schedule:

• Five 8-hour evening shifts (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)
• Rotating weekends required

Qualifications:

• BLS certification
• Current ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT credentials
• Demonstrated proficiency in Siemens MRI systems, particularly Siemens Aera 1.5
• Advanced experience in neuro imaging, body imaging, angiography, and musculoskeletal (MSK) imaging preferred
• Confident scanning patients with multiple implanted devices
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI exams independently, adhering to physician protocols
• Operate Siemens Aera 1.5 MRI scanner and adapt techniques for various patient needs
• Ensure patient safety, especially with regard to those with implanted devices
• Troubleshoot minor technical and equipment issues
• Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Support a collaborative environment with radiologists, nursing, and support staff
• Ensure excellent patient care, keeping comfort and privacy a top priority
