Desired Qualifications:

• Current ARRT (MR) certification required
• Valid state licensure as an MRI Technologist
• Proven hands-on experience operating MRI equipment and imaging software
• Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical records systems
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and cross-sectional imaging
• Exceptional communication and patient interaction skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to perform advanced diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians
• Position patients accurately and safely, ensuring comfort and quality imaging results
• Evaluate images for clarity and completeness before releasing to radiologists or medical providers
• Maintain accurate patient records, respecting confidentiality at all times
• Adhere to safety protocols concerning equipment use, patient care, and infection control
• Provide clear instructions to patients, addressing concerns and ensuring a positive experience
• Monitor equipment functionality and promptly report any malfunctions or maintenance needs
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other team members to optimize workflow and patient outcomes
